Director
James (Jim) Schiller cofounded Gorfine, Schiller & Gardyn in 1987 and has over 45 years of experience in individual, corporate and partnership taxation, business valuation and succession and financial planning. Jim works closely with many of the firm’s small and medium-sized corporate clients, guiding them through all phases of the business cycle.
Jim’s special expertise in family business matters has been an asset to company owners in implementing strategies to avoid conflict. When issues arise, Jim has the experience to get them resolved quickly.
With a concentration of clients in both the not-for-profit and medical and healthcare profession, Jim is a key advisor for Gorfine, Schiller & Gardyn’s not-for-profit and physicians practice niche group.
In 2007, Jim was named one of Baltimore’s Top 40 Accountants by SmartCEO Magazine.
