Briana McDaniel, CPA

Briana McDaniel is a seasoned accounting professional with a wealth of experience in audits, reviews, and compilations for a variety of sectors, including not-for-profit organizations, government entities, for-profit businesses, and employee benefit plans. Her expertise in these areas has made her a valuable member of the firm’s Employee Benefit Plan niche team. Since joining Gorfine, Schiller & Gardyn in 2013, Briana has continued to build on her extensive experience in public accounting, which she began in 2008.

Briana’s academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Lycoming College, which she obtained in 2008. During her senior year, she demonstrated her leadership skills by working as an assistant to the Director of Human Resources, gaining valuable insights into organizational operations. She achieved her CPA certification in 2010 and is licensed to practice in the State of Pennsylvania, underscoring her commitment to maintaining high professional standards.

Beyond her professional achievements, Briana is dedicated to community service and has actively contributed her time and resources to various causes. She has been a longstanding supporter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, both as a donor and volunteer, demonstrating her commitment to making a positive impact in the fight against blood cancers. Additionally, Briana has served on the Board of Directors of the Harford Choral Society, where she not only volunteered her time but also participated as a singer, reflecting her passion for the arts and community engagement. Her volunteer efforts extend to supporting local wineries, where she contributes her time to help these businesses thrive.
