Baltimore-area accounting leader to help strengthen financial resources for program expansion

Gorfine, Schiller & Gardyn, a full-service certified public accounting firm, announced that Scott Rodgville, a Director with the firm, has been appointed to the board of directors of The Education Foundation of Baltimore County Public Schools (BCPS) and named Assistant Treasurer for the organization.
In his role as a new board member, Rodgville will help the organization to strengthen its financial resources for supporting improved educational outcomes for the BCPS’ community through fundraising, advocacy, and expanded programs.
A senior Baltimore-area accounting leader, Rodgville is a client-service focused CPA with deep strategic and business development expertise in a number of related sectors including nonprofits, real estate, nursing care facilities, and many others.
“The addition of Scott to our board of directors will be invaluable as we expand our programs that align with The Education Foundation of BCPS’ vision of a successful and bright future for every student,” said Deborah S. Phelps, Executive Director at The Education Foundation of BCPS.
The Education Foundation of BCPS attracts and directs public financial contributions to programs and activities of the school system in support of quality education for all children. It also provides financial resources for programs and initiatives that align and supplement students’ education experience.
