Estrada joins 50 women honored based on professional experience, community involvement and showing a commitment to inspiring change.

Jennifer Estrada, Senior Manager of Gorfine, Schiller & Gardyn, P.A.’s (GSG) Audit and Accounting Department, has been selected to receive one of The Daily Record’s 2017 Leading Women awards.
Nominees for Leading Women are evaluated based on their education and career history; examples of mentoring, career-related officer and board memberships in professional, business or trade organizations; volunteer involvement in civic and nonprofit organizations; awards and honors; professional accomplishments; and commitment to inspiring change in their organization or the community.
“Jennifer’s evolution from student to teacher, from recruit to recruiter and from audience to educator are just a few of the examples of what an outstanding Leading Woman Jennifer Estrada has become and is for GSG and for the community at-large,” GSG’s Audit and Accounting Officer Scott Rodgville said. “She continues to excel personally and inspire professionally, and her growth is a gift that she shares throughout GSG.”
Aside from her responsibilities for the Audit and Accounting Department, Estrada plays a major role in the firm’s mentorship program. She interacts with the firm’s new hires on a personal and professional level to match each one with a suitable mentor. Estrada also goes out of her way to train entry-level employees in order to provide them with the skillset they need to advance within the firm. Her time spent with new hires and entry-level staff contributes to a friendly and comfortable environment, encouraging and inspiring growth at all levels.
Estrada’s dedication for outstanding services extends to the community. She actively volunteers with a number of organizations and sits on the Board of Arrow Child and Family Ministries. Estrada also began a program to teach Spanish-speaking adults the English language at St. Pius X Church in Towson, Md.
